Great North American [Solar] Eclipse - Path of Totality

As a substitute teacher for an elementary school art class on the day of the solar eclipse, I was inspired. This image was created by layering different colors of construction paper on top of each other: starting with a white base, next layer was black with a circle torn out and the glare points cut out and then glued on top of the white, adding three circles on top of each other - each smaller than the preceding, and torn out - not cut - so as to help give the blurred edge look. The last black circle that was glued on was the first black circle torn out. Then I added white crayon around the edge to help give the piece radiance.
